Long or short rider, member of WIBC or not, every ride is important, both for kids and adults. Take advantage of National Bike Month to continue or begin your biking routine.
At WIBC anyone can win the most miles prize, and we will definitely have have something for all kid riders.
Prizes aside, the goal of WIBC is to collect good data for future grants to improve our cycling programs and infrastructure for cycling on Whidbey Island. Every mile and every trip counts when money is being allocated for infrastructure projects in Island County. Cities and Towns need to show just how many avid cyclists, bicycle commuters, kids on bikes and even casual riders that are out there– and we happen to know that the number is pretty large! Help us continue to grow Island County’s focus on biking. Share your miles through May!
New or renewing riders visit the WIBC safety page for a check list for keeping your rides safe. Always wear a HELMET
We’ll have events and promotions for other regional club event right here on our website. Stayed tuned.
