Full Moon Ride, National Night Out & Ride the Moose

Photo Credit NASA Friday – July 31st – Join WIBC members for a Mount Baker Full Moon Ride

Ride the wilds of Mount Baker Hwy and enjoy pizza and  refreshments on the glacier on the way back down.

Strong riders will leave from Chair 9 at 9pm.  Another group will  drive up to the DOT station and leave from there.

Everyone will regroup at Artist Point for pizza and refreshments at Chair 9 before descending back down the mountain.

Sunday – August 9th, Ride the Moose

Ride the Moose will start at Skagit Cycle on Pioneer Way at 8am on August 9th

Come ride.

Ride the Moose has a total ascent of 2536.97 ft and has a maximum elevation of 438.39 ft over 40 miles.

NNO 2015 Join us August 4th for the annual National Night Out (NNO)

NNO is a unique crime/drug prevention e    event  involving  citizens, law  enforcement  and  emergency personnel from the  City of  Oak Harbor,  civic groups, businesses,  neighborhood  organizations, the Island  County Sheriff’s  Department, NAS  Whidbey, and local officials from Island County.

National Night Out is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!
